While we face an unprecedented situation in the country right now, we tend to focus on things that provide us a sense of normalcy or connection to others. For many of us, that is officiating and being involved in the game of lacrosse. Many of us are involved in officiating because it provides us an opportunity to stay involved in the game and provides some additional income. But more importantly it provides all of us a connection to a community.
In order to provide our officials with that sense of community we are going to be offering a series of live webinars each week on Monday and Tuesday evenings. The schedule and registration for each webinar is listed below.
We want to encourage you to send this to the officials in your local organization to provide them with an opportunity to stay engaged.
All these webinars will be recorded and available the next day at http://www.learning.uslacrosse.org

We have received many questions about how local organizations can complete certification requirements for officials. We have developed a learning and development curriculum available at http://www.learning.uslacrosse.org for your officials to complete their annual learning and testing requirements online.
All officials seeking certification or recertification for 2020 need to complete at least four of the courses or webinars offered for credit towards their annual classroom requirement for certification.
In addition, all officials must complete the annual rules exam, the rule interpretation webinar and the online rules and penalty course if they have not already done so.
These learning and development opportunities are to supplement or replace local in-person training opportunities for this season that may be lost, this curriculum is offered to our member officials to stay involved in officiating lacrosse and to prepare them for games once they resume.
On-field portions and evaluations will have to be postponed until once games resume and summer and fall tournaments may provide us an opportunity to conduct those.
Your officials can access these packages by following these steps”
Go to http://www.learning.uslacrosse.org and log in using your US Lacrosse account
Go to Catalog > 2 – Officials
On the bottom there will be two different curriculum packages you may select based on the game you officiate.
